Policies and Procedures
TOURNAMENT ENTRY PROCEDURES
Juniors shall use the entry form provided in the
Tournaments Section of this
Web Site to register for all Jimmy Green Junior Golf Tour events.
They must be received by the host professional of each event FIVE
(5) DAYS IN ADVANCE. INCOMPLETE FORMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. DO NOT
SEND IN ENTRY FORMS FOR ANOTHER TOURNAMENT IN THE SAME ENVELOPE.
1. ENTRY FEE PER EVENT: $15.00
2. ENTRY MUST ARRIVE 5 DAYS BEFORE EVENT.
3. MAKE CHECK PAYABLE TO THE INDIVIDUAL HOST FACILITY
4. THE PRO MAY LIMIT THE NUMBER IN FIELD.
If you do not get into the tournament, your check will be destroyed.
If you wish to receive your check back, please notify the host professional
to make arrangements.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY
To withdraw from a tournament, notice must be given
to the Host Professional or his/her staff at least 2 days prior
to the event in order to receive a refund. In the case of withdrawal
after the deadline for medical reasons, a full refund will be extended.
Please consult with the host professional. If a player has entered
a tournament and cannot play, it is his/her responsibility to notify
the Host Professional and his/her staff members at least 24 hours
before the tournament. NO SHOWS will not receive any refund. Any
junior who NO SHOWS three times or more will not be allowed to play
in tournaments for the remainder of the year.
Remember:
o Full Refund if you withdraw at least two (2) days in advance.
o If you can not show up for the tournament after the entry deadline,
you must call the host professional.
o Three (3) No Shows or more the player is suspended.
CANCELLATION POLICY
At the discretion of the Host Professional, play
will be canceled or reduced to determine age group winners, due
to inclement weather conditions, course playability or any other
reason that may warrant the stipulated round to be shortened. If
the tournament is completely canceled, the tournament will be rescheduled,
if possible. Tournaments that are shortened in length will retain
the right to use the full entry fee to offset expenses and commitments
to the host facility. If the event is canceled and can not be rescheduled,
all entry fees will be refunded within 15 days by the Host Professional,
less incidental expenses occurred by the host facility.
TIE-BREAKING PROCEDURES
TROPHIES:
All ties will be decided by a sudden death playoff.
The playoff may be by holes, a putt-off or chip-off. In the event
sudden death is not available, the method prescribed by the U.S.G.A.
Rules of Golf, Appendix I, How To Decide Ties, Stroke Play, will
be followed.
TIES FOR POINTS:
1st and 2nd place points will be determined by
playoff. In the event of a tie for places two through five, each
player will receive the stipulated points for their finish. For
example, if two players tie for second, each will receive 6 points.
The player with the next lowest score would be deemed to finish
fourth and therefore would receive 3 points.
